masters squad
Our Masters Squads cater to advanced swimmers seeking to fine-tune their technique and enhance their speed in preparation for competitive events. Sessions typically cover distances ranging from 2000 to 3500 meters.
In collaboration with Urban Swim Academy we offer a robust swimming program with 8 weekly sessions available. These sessions take place at Dubai Police Academy (DPA), Lycée Français Jean Mermoz School (LFJM), Jebal Ali School (JAS) and Wellfit Meydan (WFM). Each session targets specific training zones and is periodised to maximise performance for upcoming competitions, as outlined in the SwimTribe calendar.
SCHEDULE
Monday
07.00 - 08.00 at Dubai Police Academy
Aerobic Foundation sessions are designed to develop the fundamentals of efficient long-distance swimming. These sessions emphasise developing a strong aerobic base, which is crucial for sustaining prolonged periods of swimming with good technique.
19.00 - 20.00 at Lycée Français Jean Mermoz School
Drills and Speed Max sessions focus on refining strokes, enhancing speed and improving overall performance in the water. These sessions include targeted drills that address specific aspects of each stroke, such as stroke mechanics, body position and efficiency.
Tuesday
08.00 - 09.00 at Wellfit Meydan
Aerobic Foundation sessions are designed to develop the fundamentals of efficient long-distance swimming. These sessions emphasise developing a strong aerobic base, which is crucial for sustaining prolonged periods of swimming with good technique.
18.45 - 19.45 at Ranches Primary School
Aerobic Robustness sessions are designed to enhance a swimmer’s ability to maintain efficiency and technique under sustained exertion. These sessions emphasise developing a strong, consistent rhythm while swimming at moderate to high intensities over longer distances.
Wednesday
