Touring and snorkeling the Daymaniyat Islands are one of the most surprising and must-do parts of a trip to Muscat, Oman. Nine small islands make up this snorkeling hotspot, with its brightly colored fish, sea turtles, and clear beautiful water. The islands are a natural preserve, uninhabited, completely natural, and protected by a marine reserve. They were designated as a nature reserve in 1993 to help conserve the turtles and fish as well as the coral reefs in the area.

who is this trip for?
This trip is ideal for swimmers who are looking for an adventurous swimming experience in one of most exotic destinations in Oman.
Swimmers should also have a basic understanding of open water swimming and be capable of completing the average swim distance of around 2 km twice in a day.

What is included
2 nights including breakfast at the 4* Mysk Hotel. Reservation will be under your name in either a single or double room, depending on your booking
2 return trips from Muscat (Al Mouj Marina) to the islands on a private boat (around 40 minutes each way)
5 coached open water sessions around the islands

9.00 - Boat departure from Al Mouj Marina
10.00 - Swim 1 *
12.30 – Lunch
15.00 - Short hike and swim 2 *
17.00 - Return to Al Mouj Marina
Sunday
8.00 - Check-out
8.30 - Meet at hotel lobby
9.00 - Boat departure from Al Mouj Marina
10.00 - Swim 3 *
11.30 - Swim 4 (jumping from the boat on arrival to the island) and swim 5 *
13.00 - Lunch and return to Al Mouj Marina
14.00 – End of trip. Changing room and showers will be available at the hotel.
* Every swim will range from 2 to 3km. We will be fluid and adapt distance and pace of the swims according to the group and break out in subgroups when needed
Other activities
Snorkeling to explore the corals and marine life
Kayaks and paddle boards to explore the place from a different angle
Walk and explore what these mysterious islands are reserving to us
services on the boat / islands

Washroom and fresh water are available on the boat
There is no electricity or other infrastructure on the islands
First aid kit and immediate transport back to Muscat in case of emergency

The meeting place at Al Mouj Marina in Muscat can be reached by plane (1h) or by car (4.5h) from Dubai
