Join SwimTribe for our next adventure to the stunning Daymaniyat Islands, one of Oman’s most beautiful and untouched marine reserves. This group of nine small islands is famous for its crystal clear waters, colorful coral reefs, sea turtles, and vibrant marine life, making it the perfect destination for swimming, snorkeling, and relaxing in nature.

The islands are completely uninhabited and protected as a marine reserve, ensuring a truly natural and peaceful experience. Expect warm, clear waters with temperatures between 26 and 28°C, ideal for open water swimming and exploration.

Swimmers should also have a basic understanding of open water swimming and be capable of completing the average swim distance of around 2 km twice in a day.

WHAT IS INCLUDED

2 nights including breakfast at the 4* Mysk Hotel. Reservation will be under your name in either a single or double room, depending on your booking
2 return trips from Muscat (Al Mouj Marina) to the islands on a private boat (around 40 minutes each way)
3 to 4 coached open water swims around the islands, ranging from 2 to3km. Distances and pace will be adapted to suit the group, with smaller subgroups formed where needed.
Other activities include snorkelling, kayaking, paddleboarding and exploring the islands on foot.

Friday

Check-in: from 2pm onwards
Dinner at Marsa Plaza (not included). Restaurant to be confirmed

Saturday

8.00 - Meet at hotel lobby
8.30 - Boat departure from Al Mouj Marina
10.00 - Swim 1 * (1.5hrs)
12.30 – Lunch
15.00 - Swim 2 * (1hr)
17.00 - Return to Al Mouj Marina

Sunday

7.30 - Check-out
8.00 - Meet at hotel lobby
8.30 - Boat departure from Al Mouj Marina
10.00 - Swim 3 * (1 - 2hr) around the headland
11.00 - Snacks and refuel
11.30 - Swim 4 * (1hr) time permitted
14.00 – End of trip. Return to Al Mouj Marina. Changing rooms and showers will be available at the hotel.

There is no electricity or other infrastructure on the islands
First aid kit and immediate transport back to Muscat in case of emergency

WHAT TO PACK

Your swimming kit!
A safety buoy (mandatory). You can buy one here.
Vaseline or other anti-chafing products
Sun protection: hat, sunglasses, sun cream
A power bank to charge your devices
A drybag to carry your objects if you do kayaking
Snacks including gels/bars if needed during the day

The meeting place at Al Mouj Marina in Muscat can be reached by plane (1h) or by car (4.5h) from Dubai
